The Ghost Recon series has always been known as a tactical shooter experience but Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is set to change all of that. What makes this game unique is the fact that this particular time you don’t have a map with linear approaches towards your goal. Instead, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is the first game in the series that embraces an open world approach.

The story of the game is set in Bolivia, a country that it’s unstable due to the gains of the drug cartel. The country is now the largest cocaine producer and the cartels are increasing their international power. This is where the US government comes into play as it tries to focus on stopping the cartels before their influence gets outside Bolivia. You play the role of a team member whose main focus is to eliminate the drug cartels as fast as possible, but as you can expect this will not be easy at all.

The gameplay is different when compared to the previous Ghost Recon games and that is actually a very good thing. The game does strive to innovate by bringing the series back to the future and into the modern day. Here you can find most of the regular equipment used by militaries around the world but there are some new items like drones which can tag and even highlight enemies from afar.

You can play missions either the day or night and if you choose to complete them during the night you will have a tactical advantage. Despite being an open world game, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is still focused on delivering some very good tactics and the game does have an interesting approach towards that which is quite impressive. The game is known to offer a wide variety of vehicles as well and these will help you get around a lot faster. This is necessary, mainly because the game world is so huge to begin with.

Unlike the previous games in the series, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands will have side missions and this is indeed a welcoming sight here. Being able to have such missions does offer a very good set of results and the experience is great as a whole. Speaking of experience, you can get XP points and level up as you play. The gear in this game can also be upgraded.

The game has been in development for many years and it was first revealed at E3 2015. Since then, more and more gameplay trailers and other similar info was shared online. This does show that the game has a very interesting and unique approach towards the Ghost Recon experience and that does tend to pay off very well for this type of games.

As a whole, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands seems like a promising entry in the series. The game is set to release on March 7 2017 for Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. If Ubisoft will fulfill all these claims, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is set to be one amazing game, so hopefully that will indeed happen! Get your Ghost Recon Wildlands CD Key here.
